Edith Laverne Warren, 97, of Muskogee, Oklahoma passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2019. She was born on October 31, 1921 to Lovely George Rogers and May (Dean) Rogers in Gore, Oklahoma. Edith did many things in her life including, driving a race car and a motorcycle.

She enjoyed being outside planting flowers in her garden. Edith loved listening to gospel, bluegrass and zydeco music. She loved her family very much and enjoyed spending as much time as possible with them.

Edith was preceded in death by her parents, Lovely George and May Rogers; daughter, Nelly Wanice Lykins; brother, L.G. Rogers; and sister, Ruth Scoggins. She is survived by her sons, Billy Wayne Chandler, of Okay, OK, and Dana B. Chandler of Broken Arrow, OK; brother, Vernon Rogers of Muskogee, OK; 11 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. No services have been planned at this time.
