OBITUARY Edith Lou Ater August 16, 1942 – November 2, 2018 Funeral services for Edith Lou Ater, 76, of Lake Brownwood will be held Monday, November 5, 2018 at 2 PM at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM prior to the service.

Ms. Ater passed away Friday, November 2, 2018. Edith Lou Forga was born August 16, 1942 to Audie and Nellie (Tidwell) Forga in Glenwood, Arkansas. She was a member of the American Legion and Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, where she was church secretary.

Edith liked to play cards and embroider; and she was well-known for her good cooking. Those left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Cheri Ivanhoe and husband, Karl, of Midland; grandchildren, Kolby and Lauren Ivanhoe, Jared and Kasey Ivanhoe and Hillary Ivanhoe; great grandchildren, Payton Ivanhoe, Riley Ivanhoe, Brynlee Ivanhoe and Cainen Ivanhoe; brothers and sisters, Wendell Forga of Wolfe, Cledith Grundy of Lake Brownwood, Ramona Myers of Mission, Tony Forga Rockwall and Sheila Roberts of Midland; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and many friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Audie Forga; mother, Nellie Forga and brothers, Larry Forga and Dwight Forga.
