Edith “Lucille” Weatherill, 94 years, Council Bluffs died June 29, 2018. She was born April 21, 1924 in Crescent, Iowa to Fred W. and Grace Bird. She served two years in the WAVES during World War II.

She worked 33 years for the Balbach Co. and Air Products. She was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 53 years, George N. Weatherill; her son, Don Weatherill; sisters, Thelma Rief, Gladys Jensen, Lillian Gordon and Viola Anderson;… Read More » brothers, George, Fred, Bob and Melvin Bird.

She is survived by her daughter, Virginia and son in law, Fred Roberts of Acworth, GA; sisters, Ione Spitznagle and Norma Heath; 8 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation with the family will be Sunday 2 to 4PM at the Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday 10AM also at the funeral home.

Interment will be in the Ridgewood Cemetery.
