Edith Luper Sprinkle, 83, of Pfafftown went to Heaven on March 21, 2019. She was a member of Pfafftown Christian Church. Edith loved life, her family, playing games, and her dog Shallie.

She has blessed so many lives and had a great sense of humor. She had worked at R.J. Reynolds, and then operated a daycare in her home for 12 years, where she kept in touch with those kids who still came to visit her even as late as last Sunday. She is preceded in death by her son, Grady Luper (Al), daughter, Sharon Beeson, granddaughter, Allison Norton, husband, Richard Sprinkle, and parents, Elzey and Ada Speaks.

Edith is survived by her two sisters, Doris Kiser and Helen Wynn; two stepsons, Ricky and Billy Sprinkle; daughter-in-law, Kim Luper; grandchildren, Chris Luper (Courtney), Cory Luper (Riley), Caila Gulledge (Cameron), Kaylyn Stewart and Charity Beeson; and great grandkids, Landon, Hudson, Ellie, Olivia, and Wyatt; many special nieces and nephews who loved her dearly and helped her during this transition; special friends, Jerry and Sandra Lindley; and neighbors, Chapman (Jr. ) and wife Marcia Leonard. A celebration of Edith’s life will be held Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 3 PM at Pfafftown Christian Church with Rev.

Tim Shoaf and Mr. Steve Clodfelter officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery.

The family would like to thank all of Edith’s family members, friends and Trellis Supportive Care for her care through this tough time. Memorials may be made to Trellis Supportive Care, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
