Edith Mae Salter of Silsbee, Texas April 3, 1950 – March 2, 2019 Funeral services for Edith Mae Salter, 68, of Silsbee, TX, will be held on Monday, March 11, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery.

Visitation will begin on Sunday, March 10, 2019, at 5:00 PM at Warren Meadows Funeral Home, Many, LA. Edith Mae Salter was born on Monday, April 3, 1950 in Pineville, LA. She passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2019 in Galveston, TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Emmit Oliver Hardy and Mildred Mae (Scott) Hardy; and two brothers, Emmit Ray Hardy and Carl Leland Hardy. She is survived by her husband, Jim Salter of Silsbee, TX; daughters, Ashley Salter and husband Terry from League City, TX and Alisha Miller and husband Kevin of Goshen, IN; brothers, Ruel Hardy and wife Pat of Buena Vista, VA and Justin Hardy and wife Angelique of West Monroe, LA; grandchildren, Ethan Miller of Goshen, IN, Kaylee Miller of Goshen, IN and Gillian Alsdorf of League City, TX; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
