Brewer, age 103 of Cookeville, Tennessee, will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 11:00AM from the Chapel of Whitson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday from 5:00-9:00PM and Wednesday from 10:00AM till time of the service.

Mrs. Brewer passed away on Friday, February 22, 2019 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Edith P. Brewer was born on April 18, 1915 in Putnam County, TN to the late Haskell and Nina (Roberson) Harp. She lived most of her life in Putnam County and worked at the Brotherton & Algood Schools as a cook.

She enjoyed working in her flower and vegetable gardens. As she aged, she looked forward to visits from family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband: James Roscoe Brewer; A Son: Danny Brewer; & Great Grandson: Thomas Kent Koger.
