Edna Mae’s Obituary Edna Mae Riggins Perry entered into eternal rest at Slidell Memorial Hospital on Monday, February 11, 2019 at the age of 70. She was a native of Gretna, LA and a resident of Slidell, LA. Loving mother of Renee, Dwight (Ira), Tammy (Mathieu), Tyrone, Tremone (Keysia), Tinya (Fred), Irving, and the late Alfred J. Perry, Sr. Daughter of the late Joseph and Daisy Riggins.

Sister of Louis, Anthony, and Mitchell Riggins, Anna Williams, Carolynn Shelvin, Wilma Covington, Joseph, Clarence, Beverly and Geraldine Kelly, and the late Carl and Joseph Riggins, Jr. Former wife of the late Renee Perry, Sr. Edna is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Fischer Community Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Fischer Community Church, 1737 L. B. Landry Ave. , New Orleans, LA on Friday, February 22, 2019 at 10:00a.m. Bishop James Nelson Brown, officiating Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
