Edward’s Obituary Edward Douglas McLendon, 76, of Wylie passed away in Richardson on Friday, March 1, 2019. Edward was born on Sunday, March 9, 1942, in Charlotte, North Carolina. His parents were the late Lacy Little and Mildred (Scarborough) McLendon.

He met Brenda Jo McCorkle and they married on January 11, 1964 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Edward was a Vice-President with Bank of America where is oversaw the IT department. Edward is survived by his wife of 55 years, Brenda Jo McClendon of Wylie; children David Douglas MCLendon and wife, Huong Trinh of Dalllas, Cindy Penley of Lenoir, North Carolina and Brian Tracey McClendon and wife, Melanie of Wylie; his 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and a host of friends.

The family will honor him with a memorial at a later date.
