Mr. Cave was born July 9, 1949 in Surry County to Edward Crawley Cave, Sr. and Marie Vestal Cave. He was preceded in death by his father; wife Karen Burton Cave.

Surviving are his mother; daughter Sharon Cave (Marshall) Spillman; son Preston Cave; grandchildren Austin Aldridge, Ashlyn Cave, Morgan (Kasey) Greene, Kayla Spillman; great grandchildren Hensley Edwards, Lakyn Aldridge, Kayleigh Greene, Kinsley Greene, Emma Greene, River Greene; sister Diane Cave Robbins; brother Clinton (Denise) Cave. The family will receive friends from 9-11 AM Saturday January 26, 2019 at Forbush Friends Church. A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 following the visitation at the church by Rev.

Ray Lamb and Rev. Jake Penley. The family would like to say a very special thanks to the staff of SECU Hospice Home of Yadkin for the loving care given to Mr. Cave.
