OBITUARY Edward Grady Murtha January 25, 1964 – December 30, 2018 Edward Grady “Neddie” Murtha was born January 25, 1964 in Des Plaines to Edward and Catherine (nee Grady) Murtha and passed away December 30, 2018 in his home at Misericordia. He was a beloved resident of Misericordia Home for 50 of his 54 years of life. Neddie is survived by his sisters Margaret (Joseph) Xanthopoulos and Mary Kay (James) Bucaro and was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Cathy Anne Murtha.

He was Uncle to Jamie Lynne (Parker) Remak, Briana Bucaro, Meghan Bucaro, Patrick (Maria) Murtha, Kate Krizka, James (Shannon) Krizka and Elizabeth Xanthopoulos and Great-Uncle to Parker James Remak, Jaden Buford and Carren Krizka. He also had numerous cousins and friends at Misericordia. Visitation will be Thursday, January 3, 2019 from 10:00 AM until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at Misericordia Home Chapel, 6300 N. Ridge Avenue, Chicago, IL 60660.

Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Misericordia Home.
