Stachowski, 87, of Orefield, died Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest. He was the husband of the late Dorothy L. (Perley) Stachowski. Born in South Bend, IN, January 21, 1931, Edward was the son of the late John and Stella Stachowski.

He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War era. Edward was employed as a production supervisor at Pepperidge Farm in Downingtown for many years before retiring in 1988. He was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Orefield.

Survivors: Son, Larry A. Stachowski and his wife, Susan with whom he resided; siblings, Joseph Stachowski and Jane Puchala both of South Bend, IN; grandchildren, Monica S. Stachowski and Jason L. Stachowski. Service: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 am. Monday, January 14, 2019 at St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, 1879 Applewood Drive, Orefield.

The Rev. Msgr. Robert J. Wargo will be the celebrant.

Family and friends may pay their respects from 9:30 – 10:30 am. Monday in the church. Interment with military honors will follow the Mass at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Downingtown, Chester County.
