OBITUARY Edward Lawrence Costa April 14, 1943 – October 4, 2018 Edward L. Costa, 75, of Acushnet passed away unexpectedly Thursday, October 4, 2018 in his residence. He was the longtime loving companion of the late Elaine T. Costa. Born in Tiverton, a son of the late Antone and Mary (Viveiros) Costa he lived most of his life in this area.

Mr. Costa enjoyed pigeon racing for most of his life. He is survived by three children, Edward L. Costa, Jr. and his wife Holly of Fall River, Mark Costa and his wife Michelle of New Bedford, and Darlene Cadieux of Assonet; grandchildren, Crystal, Eddie, Heather, Mark, Jr., Ariel, Alyssa, and Jake; siblings, James Costa, Alfred Costa, George Costa, Mary Medeiros, and Marion May; and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Antone Costa, Jr., Manuel Costa, Joseph Costa, Elsie Ferreira, and Robert Costa.
