OBITUARY Doris C. Quintin September 9, 1940 – November 7, 2018 Doris C. Quintin, age 78, of New Bedford, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Care One at New Bedford. Born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late Oliva and Antoinette (Bergeron) Quintin, she was a lifelong resident of the city. A graduate of St. Anthony’s High School, she attended Fisher College and worked as an office clerk for the City of New Bedford Department of Veteran’s Services for many years.

Doris was a member of the ACA and St. Anthony’s Seniors. She was the recipient of the Mariah Award and prepared the 100th Anniversary Book at St. Anthony’s Church. She is survived by three sisters, Rita Souza and her husband Edward of New Bedford, Jeanne S. Quintin of New Bedford and Therese Damanio of RI; two brothers, Paul Quintin of New Bedford and Leonard Quintin and his wife Marge of Dartmouth; and many nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Roger Quintin and Lucille Alfonso and sister-in-law of the late Elvira and Rita Quintin, Mario Domiano and Joseph Alfonso. Her Funeral will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at 8:00AM from the Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd. , New Bedford, followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:00AM at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 1359 Acushnet Ave.

, New Bedford. Visiting Hours will be Wednesday from 4:00PM to 7:00PM. Burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Bedford.
