OBITUARY Aurore Rose Lacerte September 28, 1921 – November 18, 2018 Aurore Rose (Goudreau) Lacerte, age 97, of New Bedford, passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at home. She was the wife of the late Joseph Lacerte. Born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late Leo and Clara (Poulin) Goudreau, she was a lifelong resident of the city and a communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Church.

Mrs. Lacerte had worked as a stitcher at the former Arista Sportswear for 30 years and later worked at the former Pierce Garment. She enjoyed browsing at flea markets, playing Bingo and loved her chocolates. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Deborah Lacerte and Dolores Crowley of Denver, Colorado; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; 2 nieces and 1 nephew. She was predeceased by her son, Leo R. Lacerte and her sister, Juliette Hamilton. Her Funeral will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 9am from the ROCK FUNERAL HOME, 1285 Ashley Blvd.

, New Bedford followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 1359 Acushnet Ave. , New Bedford. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
