Edward “Road” Jax February 14, 1947 – March 24, 2019 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| View Guestbook Entries Edward H. “Road” Jax, 72, of Mauston died on Sunday March 24, 2019 at the Fairview Nursing Home. He was born on February 14, 1947 in Mauston to Harold and Virginia (Southern) Jax. Ed was a great fan of NASCAR and Stockcar racing, Spending many a Saturday night at the speedway, even when he shouldn’t have.

Ed Drove truck for most of his life and had worked for Eberhardt Lumber and Stan’s Lumber in Lyndon Station. Ed is survived by a brother Russell (Diane) Jax of Fitchburg, WI; Nieces Jennifer Barnes of Mauston, WI and Bethanie (Mike) Goodenough of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; Great nieces and nephews Nicholas and Jacob Barnes and Caleb, Alyssa and Arianna Goodenough; A great-great niece Mackenzie. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Jerry.

Friends may call at the Crandall Funeral Home on Saturday March 30, 2019 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 pm at the Mauston Cemetery.
