Edward S. Spangler 84, of Anderson passed away Monday February 11, 2019. Our Brother Ed was born February 24, 1934 in St. Thomas, Canada. Ed moved to Anderson along with his father, brother and sister.

He graduated from Anderson High School and then started working for Guide Lamp a division of General Motors and retired in 1998 after 45 years of service. Ed resided all of his adult life in Pendleton. He was a member of Daleville Masonic Lodge #730 and Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis Shriner.

He is survived by his brothers; Walter (Nancy) Spagler, Robert “Bob” (Susie) Spangler, sisters; Areba Stone, Tamara Cummings, all of Anderson. Several nieces and nephews, and grandson Mathew Spangler and family. He was preceded in death by his mother; Ada (Ross) Spangler, father; George Spangler, stepmother; Mildred (Fosnot) Spangler, son; Ricky Spangler, brother; Ross Spangler.

sister; Geraldine Butler. Services will be held Friday February 15, 2019 at 2:30 pm at Robert Loose Funeral Homes 200 w. 53rd St. Anderson, IN with visitation from 12:30 pm until the time of service. Burial will take place at Anderson Memorial Park.
