Marcia Kay Martin, 70, of Anderson, passed away on February 9, 2019 at Community Hospital Anderson. She was born on September 19, 1948 in Tuscola, Illinois and resided in Texas, Alaska, and spent many years in Anderson. Marcia graduated from Ball State University with both Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees.

She retired as a School Teacher for Anderson Community Schools. She was a member of Dip Dot Darlin’s Painting Group, Lunch Bunch, and Friends in Art. She enjoyed decorative painting, traveling, going out to dinner with her friends, and spending time with her family.

Marcia is survived by her loving husband, Gerald J. Martin; son, Scott Alan Martin; brothers, Chris L. Goodwin, Dennis Eugene Goodwin; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Lorene Goodwin. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 14, 2019, 10:30 am – 11:30 am at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd Street Anderson.

Services will be 11:30 am, Thursday, February 14, 2019, at the funeral home, with Kent Stookey officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation P.O. Box 1848 Longmont, CO 80502. www.
