Barbara was born on a large farm in Scircleville, IN on February 3, 1933 and resided in Anderson most of her life. She moved to Warsaw in 2017 to be closer to her daughter, while4 she needed additional care. She married the love of her life in 1959, Howard Little, and stayed at home to raise their family, which was an absolute blessing to her daughters.

Barbara brought joy to everyone she knew through her infectious smile and beautiful soul. She had an amazing sense of humor that never wavered, even during the most difficult times. She loved to go shopping, dine out, play euchre and spend time with her family, especially during the holidays.

Barbara also found great joy in traveling abroad with her husband, which included a trip to the Holy Land, Egypt, Turkey, Brazil and cruising down the Amazon River. A special thanks to the amazing angels of Premier Hospice, Season’s HomeCare and Miller’s Assisted Living in Warsaw for showering Barbara with love, respect and dignity over the past two years. They have been simply amazing.

Barbara was a member of the Parkview Church of the Nazarene and is survived by her daughters, Lisa (Alvin) Hughes of West Baden, IN, and Nangela (Rodney) Piersall of Leesburg, IN. Siblings, Mildred Coy of Frankfort, Earl Jones of Sheridan, Joan (Kenneth) Butler of Jacksonville, FL, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, along with nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Little, parents, Clayton Grandville Jones, Step-mother, Nora May Jones, and biological mother, Phoebe Adeline Whitcomb, including several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.

Contributions may be made to MS Society. Visitation will be held 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, with burial to follow at Parkview Cemetery, Alexandria, IN. www.
