Edward Stanley “Stan” Rosemond (57) of Elyria passed away unexpected on December 19, 2018. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio coming to Elyria at an early age from Oberlin, Ohio. Brother Rosemond was employed with the City of Elyria in the Park and Recreation Department.

Retiring after 30 years of service and worked for Elyria School System as a custodian. He was a lifelong member of Second Baptist Church, Elyria and a Past Master, Sidonia #93, Past High Priest, Golden Ark Chapter, #38, Past Illustrious Master of Phoenican Council #24, Royal and Select Masters, Beazley #15 Concisserry #32, Cleveland, Ohio, Knights Templar-Member Emanuel Commander #32, Worthy Joshua-Past, Noble-Member Al Laliam #223, Floyd C. Churchwell #8 Heroines of Jericho. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Melissa of 30 years; son, Kerrington Rosemond of Elyria, twin-grandchildren, Paisley and Aiden Rosemond of Lorain; sisters, Renee(Eugene) Shareef of Michigan, Janice Keith of Elyria, Lynette(James) Wright of Michigan, Tunisha (Exra) Winborn of Elyria; and host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

He preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Pollyanna Rosemond; brother, Wendell Thomson; maternal grandmother, Allie Thomson. Friends may call Wednesday, December 26, 2018 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm in the Second Baptist Church, 427 Chapman Ln, Elyria, for the Masonic Service will be at 7:00 pm and The Life of Celebration will be held on Thursday, 10:00am until time of service at 11:00am in the Second Baptist Church, Elyria, Pastor Carl P. Small will officiate. Burial at Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
