Edwardo Rodriguez May 02, 1956 – December 20, 2018 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences Edwardo Rodriguez (known to all as “Eddie”) was born on May 2, 1956 to Fernando, Sr. (deceased) and Maria Rodriguez. He was the youngest of four siblings, Fernando “Chico” Rodriguez, Jr. (deceased), Pilar “Mommie” Rodriguez (deceased), and Miriam “Baby” Smith (Rodriguez). Eddie lived in Harlem, New York City all of his life.

He was well liked and loved by many. Coming from a well-balanced Catholic home, Eddie was baptized and later became a member of St. Charles Borromeo Church, where he made his first Communion. Eddie received his education in the New York City Public School system.

Eddie was a hard worker and committed man. He worked for Riverton Houses as Security for several years. He also worked for Soundview Child Care Center as Maintenance, until he took ill.

He was a devoted son to his mother and loved ones. He was a fun, loving and outgoing person. Eddie was kindhearted and always gave positive vibes to others.

He leaves to cherish and celebrate his life: his mother, Maria (Coco) Rodriguez; his son, Myules Stewart; two grandsons, Mykius and Mysius; his sister and brother-in-law, Miriam (Baby) and Preston Smith, Jr.; his aunt and uncle, Ines and Eathel McDowell; and a plethora of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
