Obituary for Eileen K. Meyer Eileen K. Meyer, 93, a longtime former resident of South Plainfield, died on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 in the Foothill Acres Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Hillsborough. Born in Schenectady, NY, Mrs. Meyer grew up in Union and lived in Summit and Sarasota, Fl. before living in South Plainfield.

She was a longtime communicant of Sacred Heart RC Church in South Plainfield and for many years volunteered at former Sacred Heart School Library. In addition, Eileen was a former member of the South Plainfield Traveling Seniors. Predeceased by her husband, Art and two sisters, Elizabeth Mancuso and Colleen Phillips – her twin, surviving are her children, Kathleen Yurkevicz and her husband Thomas Yurkevicz of Beach Haven Crest, Maureen Rizzo and her husband Paul of Hillsborough and George and his wife Cynthia Meyer of Mountain View, CA; granddaughters, Deborah Brescia and her husband Leo, Rebecca D’Angeli and her husband Peter, Theresa Patrone and her husband Paul, Christine DeMartin and her husband Tim and Samantha Rizzo and two great grandchildren, Alanna Yurkevicz and Grace D’Angeli Visitation and funeral services will begin at 8:45am on Saturday, January 19, 2019 in the McCriskin – Gustafson Home for Funerals 2425 Plainfield Ave.

South Plainfield follow a Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart RC Church, South Plainfield. Interment will follow at St. Gertrude’s Cemetery, Colonia.
