Elbern’s Obituary It is with great sadness that the family of Elbern Nicolas Bailey announces his passing on January 19, 2019, at the age of 88 years. Elbern was a resident of Springfield, Massachusetts for almost 50 years. ELbern was born on June 1, 1930 to Thomas Gideon and Beatrice Bailey in the District of Davyton, Manchester, Jamaica, W.I. Elbern is survived by his wife of 57 years, Merline Bailey, children, Danny, Donna, Charmaigne, Paul, Orville, Chris, sisters, Zana and Paula, brother in-law Neville Russel and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren and dear friends.
