(Hopfe) Perreault, 87, formerly of Westbrook Road died Saturday morning in a local nursing home. Eleanor was born in Holyoke and was a lifelong resident of South Hadley. She was a 1949 graduate of South Hadley High School.

She had worked at Mt. St. Vincent as a dietary aid for many years. Her husband Raymond Perreault died in 1996.

She leaves a son Stephen R. Perreault; a brother Raymond Hopfe; three grandchildren Elizabeth and Christopher Perreault and Jenna Briere. She was predeceased by a daughter Jean Briere in 2015. The funeral will be held at the Curran-O’Brien Funeral Home, 33 Lamb Street, South Hadley Wednesday at noon followed by burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
