Obituary for Eleanor “Ellie” Jean Duran Pratt, Kansas – Eleanor “Ellie” Jean Duran, 69, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018 at her home in Pratt. She was born September 11, 1949 in Pratt to Martin S. and Vera (Montano) Duran. Ellie enjoyed working outside doing landscaping and her dogs.

She is survived her daughters, Kristina Hernandez of Wichita, Pearl Cook of Wichita and Vicki Morrow of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; son, Guadalupe Duran of Wichita; mother, Vera Barrientes of Pratt; brother, David Riffle; and sisters, Beatrice Duran and Tina Duran both of Pratt; 16 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father; brother, Abraham Craig; and sisters, Shirley Mabry and Maria Tobin. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Greenlawn Cemetery, Pratt.
