Eleanor “Mickey” Moylan Johnson, age 84, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Piedmont Newnan Hospital surrounded by family. She was born January 1, 1935 in Washington, D.C. to the late Vincent Joseph Moylan and Phyllis Rice Moylan. Along with her parents, Mickey is preceded in death by siblings, Vincent Moylan and Jane Ingwersen.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years Ed Johnson; children, Jennifer Merfalen (Jeffrey), Kathleen Seeley (Dr. Niel), Nancy Kidwell (Chris Henninger), Charles Kidwell (Deborah), Theresa Jernigan, Arleen Smith Herman (John), Kevin Johnson, Craig Johnson (Wanda), Laura Gilbard (Steven); grandchildren, Savannah Merfalen, Lauren Seeley (Charlie), Kara Peck (Chris), Chad McElligott (Elizabeth), Heather Grady (Dr. Edward), Christopher Jernigan (Melissa), Rich Jernigan (Kristie Cheeseman), Sandy Kelly (Chris), Holly Johnson, Andrew Johnson, Alexis Gilbard, Zack Gilbard; great-grandchildren, Avery McElligott, Lucy Grady, Joseph Grady, Samantha Jernigan, William Jernigan, Melanie Jernigan, Olivia Jernigan, Tristan Cheeseman, Autumn Kelly, Aidan Peck; sister, Marilyn Hatch (Michael), Phillip Moylan (Mary Dee). The funeral mass is Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 11 AM at St. George Catholic Church, 771 Roscoe Road, Newnan with Father Henry Atem officiating. Burial will follow the service at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 656 Roscoe Road, Newnan.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 PM until 7:30 PM at McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson Street, in Newnan with a Rosary beginning at 7:30 PM in the Chapel of McKoon Funeral Home. The family expressed their gratitude to Dr. Pamela Clanton, Dr. Shazia Kahn, the staff of Kindred Hospice and Piedmont Newnan Hospital.
