Eleanor J. Nierzejewski, age 84 of Geneva, passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at the UH Medical Center in Cleveland. Born March 4, 1934 in Marianna, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late Elsie & Orville Gillum. She Married Chester Nierzejewski in Jefferson on August 31, 2001.

Eleanor attended Kent State University and Lake Erie College. She was the owner and operator of Ellie’s Hallmark and Florist in Geneva. She had also worked for area social service agencies for 15 years and was a former member of Geneva Area Chamber of Commerce.

Eleanor is survived by her daughters: Cindy (Jeff) Clark of Columbus, Ohio, Darla Corkill, of Dallas, TX, Kimberly Haney, of Corpus Christi, TX, and Lori (Paul) Carpenter of Jefferson; son: Christopher (Wendy) Bertolotti of Conneaut; sister: Betty Malik of Clearwater, FL, and Bonnie Lombardo of Connecticut. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband E.A. “Chilli” Bertolotti; and her second husband Chester Nierzejewski; son: Mark Bertolotti; and sister: Jeanie Paolini Memorial Service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, April 13, 2018 at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 175 S. Broadway in Geneva. Burial will take place at East Conneaut Cemetery in Conneaut.
