OBITUARY Elena Perez May 6, 1933 – July 28, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Elena Perez entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at a hospital in Edinburg, Texas at the age of 85. She was born on May 6, 1933 to Reyes Perez and Candelaria Palacios Perez in Falfurrias, Texas. Elena was a wonderful and loving housewife.

She was welcomed into the gates of Heaven by her parents; son, Alfredo Perez; daughter, Elva Perez; brothers, Librado Perez, Gustavo Perez and Francisco Perez and sister, Elida Perez. Elena leaves behind to reminisce on many memories her seven children, Alicia (Eddie) Cantu of Encino, Texas, Alberto (Rosie) Perez of Corpus Christi, Texas, Aida (Rey) Trujillo of Corpus Christi, Donato Perez of Edinburg, Lilia Irene (Martin) Tamez of Corpus Christi, Peter (Lisa) Perez of Edinburg and Elva Elena (Jason) Moreno of Alice, Texas; nine siblings, Ruben Perez, Albeza Garza, Aurora Garcia, Teresita Reyes, San Juanita Villarreal, Teodoro Perez, Baldemar Perez, Octavio Perez and Sylvia Olivarez; 26 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be PJ Perez, AJ Perez, Donovan Perez, Reyes Perez, Bud Cantu, Jeremy Tamez and Joshua Moreno.

Honorary Pallbearer will be Juan Enrique Santana. Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Alice, Texas. Burial will follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Falfurrias.
