OBITUARY Rebecca “Becky” G. Perez October 18, 1933 – October 1, 2018 Rebecca G. “Becky” Perez entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 1, 2018 at a hospital in Kingsville, Texas at the age of 84. She was born on October 18, 1933 to Pedro Garza and Maria De Jesus Zamora Garza in Penitas, Texas. Becky served two terms on the Brooks County ISD School Board and was a member of the Catholic Daughters and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary for many years.

She enjoyed traveling as well as visiting gambling casinos when she could. Becky is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ezequiel P. Perez; brother, Alonzo Garza and sister, Florence Powell. She is survived by her son, Hector Perez of Falfurrias, Texas; daughter, Yvonne (Roel) Garza of Falfurrias; two brothers, Pedro (Juanita) Garza and Paul ( Lucy) Garza both of Falfurrias; four grandchildren, Joette Perez (Toribio) Rios of San Antonio, Texas, Mark James (Carla) Perez of Mission, Texas, Pedro Hector Perez of Falfurrias and Tessa Marie Garza of Falfurrias; seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias. Burial will follow at Los Caballos Cemetery on E. Hwy 285 in Falfurrias. FAMILY Son, Hector Perez of Falfurrias, Texas; daughter, Yvonne (Roel) Garza of Falfurrias; two brothers, Pedro (Juanita) Garza and Paul ( Lucy) Garza both of Falfurrias; four grandchildren, Joette Perez (Toribio) Rios of San Antonio, Texas, Mark James (Carla) Perez of Mission, Texas, Pedro Hector Perez of Falfurrias and Tessa Marie Garza of Falfurrias; seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
