Elizabeth Ann Murphey, 78, entered into rest May 4, 2018 at her residence, wife of the late Tom Murphey. Mrs. Murphey a native of Augusta, Georgia, was a homemaker and a member of Providence Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Providence Baptist Church with Pastor Donald C. Prosser officiating, burial to follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens, Grovetown, Georgia.

The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service. She is survived by her son, Steve Murphey (Pamela); daughters, Kathy Hawkins (David), Lorrie Saxon (Ricky), Jeannette Rollins and Karen Zeit (Steve); brother, Bud Reese; sisters, Ella Book and Nancy Rogers; thirteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to Providence Baptist Church, 3850 Wrightsboro Road, Augusta, 30909 or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
