Obituary for Gay Spires Coursey Gay Spires Coursey Aiken, SC – Entered into rest Monday, June 4, 2018, Mrs. Gay Spires Coursey, 92. Mrs. Coursey was born in Augusta, GA and worked at Sears for 22 years. Family members include her daughter: Barbara Hanley (Jack); sons: Michael Coursey (Nancy), Joseph Coursey (Kathy), and Barry Coursey (Byron).

She also had 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Clifford Joseph Coursey, Sr. A graveside service will be Thursday, June 7, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Westview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Tidewater Hospice, 1065 Silver Bluff Road, Aiken, SC 29803.
