Our beloved Elizabeth Marie Bedner (Kostzyn) died on Wednesday April 18,2018 She was born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, 7/3/18 and died at the age of 99. Surviving are her daughter Jean Knower from Hillsborough, N.J. Grandchildren John Velge, Tampa, Fla, Jason Velge, Tucson, Az. , Kristen Patterson, Elizabethtown, Pa.

, Danielle Zellers, Hillsborough, N. J., David Knower, Ringoes, N. J. her Great Grandchildren, Anthony Zellers, Hillsborough, N.J., Dylan Velge, Tampa, Fl. , Jacob Velge, Tampa, Fl. , Brielle Patterson, Elizabethton, Pa.

and Miranda Velge, Tucson, Az. Elizabeth was a resident of Colonia for 65 years. She was preceded by death by her devoted husband John Joseph of 75 years died 5/9/17 and son, John Richard 11/27/17 Anyone who knew her knew how much she loved raising her twin children, being a dedicated wife, tending to her flowers and garden, lover of birds and being a Queen at grooming and weeding her property.

She was a painter of all mediums. She was an accomplished upholster and seamstress sewer, baker and a Martha Stewart of her time. The secret to a long and happy marriage is “happy wife happy life”.
