Jeanette Shumlich passed away peacefully Wednesday May 2, 2018 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. She was born in Newark and lived in Irvington, resided in Edison for 37 years, moving to Howell in 2006 and then Manor By the Sea in Ocean Grove. As a young girl growing up in Newark she would help the nuns at St Stanislaus Church.

She was a member of St Helena Altar Rosary Society in Edison. Jeanette was predeceased by her husband Chester Shumlich (1998), her daughters Diana Fusco Cloos (1992) and Christine Haug (2014) and her sister Adele Puta parents Walter and Michalina Sadowski. Surviving are her daughter Patricia Gilman and her husband William, 6 grandchildren, Anthony, Michael, Michelle, Justin, Daniel, Kaitlin, 6 great grandchildren and her sister Helen Naklicki also her son in law Bradley Haug She was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother and will be truly missed.

Visitation will be held on Friday May 4 ,2018 from 9:30AM to 10:30AM at the GOSSELIN FUNERAL HOME, 660 New Dover Road, Edison. Followed by a 11:00AM Funeral Mass at St Helena RC Church Edison. Interment St Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
