Elizabeth Myers Brooks, 91, of Waynesboro, VA, passed away Friday, November 23, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, Philip Oliver Brooks. She is survived by one daughter, Patricia Kiblinger; one sister, Louise Dull and several nephews and nieces.

Her church life started at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. In the 1960s she taught Cosmetology at Valley Vocational Technical Center at the Woodrow Wilson Complex. She retired from Virginia National Bank.

She was an avid Horticulturist. And her hobbies grew in to a business of weaving baskets and replacing chair seats with chair cane, pressed cane, rush, split oak and various other techniques. A Memorial Service will be held at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 1148 Ladd Road, Waynesboro, VA 22980 at 4:00 P. M., Thursday, November 29, 2018, conducted by Pastor Karen Taylor and Mike Lawson.

She will be buried beside her husband, Phil Brooks, in Culpeper National Cemetery, Culpeper, VA. In addition to flowers, those who wish can make contributions, in her memory, to the Wildlife Center of Virginia, 1800 S. Delphine Ave. , (P.
