OBITUARY Elizabeth Sharon Broome April 4, 1934 – July 14, 2018 Elizabeth Sharon Rose Broome, of Concord, NC, passed away Saturday, July 14, 2018, at The Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis, NC. Born on April 4, 1934 in Knox County, TN, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd Benjamin Rose and Mable Elizabeth Jones Rose. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, James Broome Sr.; brother, Lloyd Rose Jr. and sister, Alice Rose Welmers.

She is survived by her sons, James Broome and wife Terri, David Broome and wife Catherine; daughter, Rebecca Earnhardt and husband Keith; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 16, 2018 at 1:00pm at Catawba Funeral Home with Pastor Andrew Broome officiating. Burial to follow at Catawba Memorial Park.

A visitation will be held from 12:00 to 12:45pm prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Hospice and Palliative care of Cabarrus County at: 5003 Hospice Lane Kannapolis, NC 28081 and/or to Catawba Regional Hospice at: 3975 Robinson Rd Newton NC 28658.
