OBITUARY Roseanna Denton Propst December 21, 1946 – September 21, 2018 Roseanna Denton Propst, 71, passed away on Friday, September 21st at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on December 21, 1946 to the late Frank Bodenheimer and Lula Graham Brodenheimer in Mercer County, West Virginia. Roseanna was a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church of Newton.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Howard Denton and recent husband, Richard Propst, two brothers and seven sisters. Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Dickey and husband Jason of Conover; son, Mark Denton and wife Anita of Hickory; step daughter, Nancy Anderson and husband Don of Statesville; grandsons, Tyler Blake Dickey (her heart), Mark Lee Denton; granddaughters, Joyi Townsend and Cara Denton; three great grandchildren, and brother, Garnold Bodenheimer of Thompson, GA. A visitation will be held on Monday, September 24, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Hickory Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2018 at 2: 00 p.m. in the Chapel of Hickory Funeral Home. Pastor Bobby Sherrill will be officiating the service. Burial will follow at Brookford City Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Catawba Regional Hospice, 3975 Robinson Rd. , Newton, NC 28658.
