OBITUARY Fannie Collins Yoder February 24, 1932 – September 27, 2018 HICKORY— Fannie Collins Yoder, 86, of Hickory passed away peacefully at Catawba Valley Medical Center on Thursday, September 27, 2018. Born in Catawba County on February 24, 1932, she was the daughter of the Lloyd Randy and Carrie Lou Deal Collins. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her grandson Chad Smith; a sister Alice Watson and brothers Lawrence Collins, Robert Collins and Herman Collins.

She is survived by her daughters Cathy Elmore of Newton, Connie Barger and husband Jerry of Taylorsville, and Lisa Denny of Hickory ; sons Steve Yoder (Kathy Davis) of Conover and David Yoder of Pensacola, FL; sisters Ellen Kral and Barbara Brown; a brother Earl Collins; 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 1, 2018 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Hickory Funeral Home. A Memorial service will be held Monday, October 1, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Hickory Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Earnest Richards officiating.
