THOMPSON—Elizabeth Juanita Johnson, age 86 of Fleming Island, FL passed away June 9, 2018. She was born on June 12, 1931 in Blackshear, GA, the daughter of Alvin Thompson and Bessie Bennett Thompson. Elizabeth is remembered as a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and friend.

She was predeceased by her son Terry D. Gill. Survived by her children, sons Gary A. Gill (Laura), and Dale M. Gill; her daughters Wanda P. Thomas, Doris Larson (Jeff), and Cindy P. Crissey (Raymond); also numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. A memorial service in celebration of her life will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday June 23, 2018 in the chapel of Jacksonville Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 111 Blanding Blvd.

, Orange Park, FL. Inurnment will follow in the Praying Hands Niches at Jacksonville Memory Gardens. Family members will greet friends prior to the service at the funeral home.
