Ella (Kurth) Baker, 104 of Russellton, West Deer Township, died Saturday October 20, 2018. She was born October 21, 1913 in Marianna, PA to the late William and Marie (Haas) Kurth. Ella has lived in Russellton for over 86 years.

She was a member of East Union Presbyterian Church, West Deer. She worked as a glass worker for PPG – Creighton for 8 1/2 years retiring in 1953. She enjoyed flower gardening.

Survivors include her daughter Leora Ansilio of Arnold, 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Reuben Baker, her daughter Elma Cajka, her great-grandson Justin Toney, her brothers Fred, Walter, William, Charles and Alfred Kurth and her sisters Marie Lees, Charlotte Doraban, Frieda Gaul and Elizabeth Robson. Friends received Monday from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM in the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer Twp.

funeral services will follow in East Union Presbyterian Church, 292 East Union Road, Cheswick, West Deer Township with the Rev. James C. Ramsey officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her parents and her daughter in East Union Church Cemetery, West Deer Township.
