Hagerstown, MD – Ellen Teresa “Nanny” Stoner, 80, of Hagerstown, MD passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Sterling Care at South Mountain Boonsboro, MD. She was born on February 26, 1939 in Bryn Mawr, PA to the late Frederick Joseph Branca and Kathleen Marie McClay Matlack. Ellen was employed by Maryland Ribbon in Hagerstown, MD until her retirement.

She was previously employed by Victor Products in Hagerstown, Digby Products in Hagerstown, and Hagerstown Leather. She was of the Catholic Faith. Ellen enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter Dianna L. Triesh and her husband Charles of Hagerstown, MD; sister Patricia Branca of Ohio; sister Lillian Temple of Norristown, PA; sister Linda Fraizer of Norristown, PA; sister Cecelia Garcia of Norristown, PA; sister Ann Carbo of Norristown, PA; brother Paul Branca of Sumter, SC; brother David Branca of Norristown, PA; grandchildren Charles D. Triesh, Jr. (Tina), Stephanie Fogle (David), and Amy Triesh (DJ Davis) her companion; great grandchildren Alexis, Adrianna, Isaiah, DeMarkus, and Benjamin; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister Elmira Fermano, brother Frederick Branca, Jr., and her longtime companion Robert Bond. The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Sunday, May 19, 2019 from 6:00-8:00 pm.

The funeral home will be open after 1:00 pm on Sunday for the convenience of family and friends. Funeral services will be held at Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Monday, May 20, 2019 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Ernest E. Witmer officiating.
