Obituary for Elmer Mabe Elmer Mabe, age 73, of Mooresburg, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Friday, December 7, 2018. He was a member and Deacon of Old Spruce Pine Baptist Church. Pop was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend to many.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Kyle and Jane Mabe, stepmother Elsie Mabe; brothers, Frank, Will, and Tom Mabe; sister, Maggie Cook. Elmer is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Dorothy Mabe; children, Sandra and Daniel Hixon, Donna and Tommy Sutton, Stanley and Tracey Mabe, Michael and Angie Mabe, Roger and Patsy Mabe; brother, Lynn Mabe; sister, Alice Shelton; 7 grandchildren and several great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on ,Tuesday, December 11,2018, from 5 till 8 pm at Christian- Sells Funeral Home in Rogersville.

The funeral service will be Wednesday at 2pm at Old Spruce Pine Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Johnson and Rev. Jamie Burton officiating.
