Obituary for Eloisa Campobasso Eloisa Campobasso RACINE – Eloisa (nee: Franco) Campobasso, 69, passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Ascension All Saints Hospital. She was born in Waco, TX on December 21, 1948, the daughter of the late Moises and Julia (nee: Reyes) Franco. She worked for many years at Western Publishing.

Eloisa married Frank Campobasso in Racine. She was a longtime member of the Eagles Club. Eloisa enjoyed cooking, playing cards, gambling, and oldies music.

She also loved donating to Native American organizations. Surviving are her children, A. Gene (Spring) Salas, David (fiancé Lisa) Salas, Josie (Mario) Lopez, and Carlos (fiancé Heather) Salas; grandchildren, Anthony, Armani, Jessie, Heather, Lacy, David, Grace, Celese, Roman, Kayla, Ryan, Samantha, Jesse, James, and Julian, nine great grandchildren; siblings, Nellie (Greg) Lebron, John Franco, and Gloria (William) Madson. She is further survived by the father of her children, Jessie Salas, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Eloisa was preceded in death by her husband, Frank on January 11, 2018, great grandson, Jayden; brothers, Jessie Franco, and Rudy Franco, sister, Anita Sehnert, and three infant siblings. Memorial services for Eloisa will take place at Sturino Funeral Home on Friday, July 6, 2018 at 3 p.m. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the time of service. Eloisa’s family would like to thank Dr. Ryan Engle and the staff at Lakeshore Manor for the wonderful care that they gave to Eloisa.
