Obituary for Clarence R. Tuttle Clarence R. Tuttle RACINE – Clarence R. Tuttle, 103, a faithful Christian, passed away on Monday, June 4, 2018 surrounded by his family. He was born in Minnesota on April 10, 1915, the son of William and Bessie Roberta (nee: Goodwin) Tuttle. Clarence proudly served with the United States Navy during World War II.

On May 11, 1974 he was united in marriage to Barbara at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Cudahy, WI. Clarence was a mechanical engineer and had been employed with Artos Engineering for many years. He was a member of Racine Churchman’s Mens Club, a lifetime member of the Yacht Club in So.

Milwaukee and had been a mentor for underprivileged children. Clarence loved the outdoors, fishing, boating and camping, especially with his grandkids. He also was an avid inventor.

Surviving are his wife, Barbara; children, David Prelewicz, Nancy (Dan) Cupertino and Sue (late Tim) Bush; eight grandchildren, Chris (Bessie) Prelewicz, Amanda (Wayne) Moore, Jacob Prelewicz, Jennifer (Brian) Fletcher, Kristin (Joe) Pascucci, Benjamin (Amanda) Cupertino, Rebecca Bush, Lauren Bush and 17 great grandchildren. He is further survived by other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held at Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, 322 Ohio St. on Monday, June 11, 2018 at 12 noon with Pastor Karen Pahl officiating, with an hour visitation before service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Lutheran Church of the Resurrection or a charity of one’s choice has been suggested.
