Elsie Caroline Riley, née Schulz, age 98, of Hartford, WI was born to eternal life Wednesday, June 6, 2018. On March 25, 1920, she was born to Herman and Josephine (Benkler) Schulz in the town of Addison. She was united in marriage to Donald H. Riley on May 2, 1942 at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Nenno, WI.

Elsie is the beloved mother of Sharon Ann (Paul K.) Speiser, cherished grandmother of Michelle, Paul M., Ryan (Karen) and Juliana (Charles) Geraghty, and dearest great-grandmother of Sophia and Liam Geraghty, and Adelynn and Emily Speiser. She was the youngest of six siblings, all of whom preceded her in death, Julia (Nick) Gundrum, Lillian (Ray) Klinger, Alvina (Sylvester) Koenings, Alvin, and Edna (Clement) Kirsch. She was a member of St. Kilian Catholic Church and Daughters of Isabella.

Mass of Resurrection for Elsie will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 12, 2018, at St. Kilian Catholic Church (264 W. State Street, Hartford, WI) with Father David LaPlante officiating. Interment will be at St. Kilian Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the St. Kilian School Endowment Fund or to a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.
