Weaver – Funeral service for Mrs. Elvie Brown Hogue Hill, 87, will be held on Friday, January, 18, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at Anniston Memorial Funeral Home. Rev. Brian Williams will be officiating.

Burial will follow the service in Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Mrs. Hill entered her Heavenly home on Tuesday, January 15, 2019.

Mrs. Hill is survived by her two sons, Steven L. Hogue of Weaver and Thomas Leo Hogue and his wife, Leslie of Pompano Beach, FL; three grandchildren, Austin Renfroe of Oxford, Harley Meche Haynes of Weaver, and Kelsey Hogue and her fiancé, Drayke Haynes of Coldwater; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hill was a member of West Weaver Baptist Church. She retired from Anniston Sportswear after working there for 47 years.

Mrs. Hill was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her. Mrs. Hill was preceded in death by her first husband and the father of her children, Henry Ford “T-Model” Hogue; six brothers and sisters; and her second husband, James Hill. The family would like to give a special thanks to Alacare Hospice for their continued compassion and care.
