OBITUARY Johnnie Rich March 11, 1929 – January 3, 2019 Funeral Service for Johnnie Oreva Carter Rich, 89, of Anniston will be held at 11am on Monday, January 7th, 2019 at Gray Brown Service Mortuary. Burial will follow at Forestlawn Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Sunday night at the funeral home.

Mrs. Rich passed away Thursday night in Jacksonville. She is survived by her husband of 70+ years William “Bill” Rich; children Sherry Bennett (Billy), Charlene Patterson, and Jon Rich (Kim); grandchildren Kim Boyd (Bobby), Will Bennett, Zach Bennett (Melody), Whit Patterson, Wes Rich (Molly), and Lauren Doss (Michael); great-grandchildren Devin Zinn, Dalton Boyd, Oliver Bennett, Millie Bennett, Gunner Rich, and Raelyn Doss; sisters Virginia Moore and Racine Daniel; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Mrs. Rich was a native of Clay County. She was a long time member of Central Church of Christ. She enjoyed knitting, playing Rummy, and looking at old pictures of her family and friends.

She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be greatly missed.
