Emmalee “Inky” Wagner Carroll, 88, of Cleveland, TN passed away on April 11, 2018. She was born on January 28, 1930 to the late George Lewis and Roxy Stepp. Emmalee was a lifelong resident of this area and a charter member of South Cleveland Church of God.

She loved adventures and was very outgoing. Emmalee had a love for flowers and was always known as being the “best dressed” in town. She leaves behind to cherish her memory one son Chris Wagner (Donna Sanders); grandchildren: Matt Wagner and Nicole Scott; six great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. In addition to these, she leaves behind her loving companion and grand dog Abby. The family will receive friends from 4:00pm until 6:00pm on Friday April 13, 2018 at Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown RD NW, Cleveland, TN 37311.

A celebration of life will be held at 6:00pm following the visitation with Pastor Edwin Lipsey and Pastor Ken Bowers officiating. Interment will take place at 11:00am on Saturday April 14, 2018 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the Tennessee Hemophiliac Association at THEBDF 1819 Ward Drive, Murfreesboro, TN 37129.
