He was preceded in death by his parents Kenos and Maggie (Senter) Sluss, First wife Georgie Large Sluss, Wife Vera Evelyn Sluss and son Enoch Marvin Sluss Jr. Survivors Include: Children: Brenda (Rick) Bolton of Hickory North Carolina Alex Clande Sluss of Clintwood, Virginia Richard Sluss of Clintwood, Virginia Sisters: Mazie Lawler of Clintwood, Virginia Lovetta Wallace of Clintwood, Virginia Patricia Mullins of Orlando, Florida Grandchild Sara Bolton and 2 Step Grandchildren Amy Walker and Jonathan Bolton. Great Grandchildren Ella Claire Morgan and Maddox Daniel Rhyne who is on the way. Visitation will be Monday, February 11, 2019 at 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Mullins Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at 1:00pm at Mullins Funeral Home with Clergyman Frank Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the Phipps Memorial Cemetery, Clintwood, Virginia. A VFW service will be conducted.

Pallbearers will be Richard Sluss, Alex Sluss Jeremey Fleming and Brad Ramey. Honorary Pallbearers will be Leon Vanover, Cagie Wayne Mullins, Tommy Childress, Rick Bolton, Dereck Ratliffe, Crawford Ramey and Harry Vanover. Family would like to recognize Rhonda Vanover, Andi Goins-Stone, Jennifer Stanley and the Home Health Staff for all their love and support during this time.
