MASSE, Ernest N., 83, of Alden Drive, West Warwick, passed away Friday, September 7, 2018 at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Florence G. (Snow) Masse, they had been married for sixty one years. Born in West Warwick, he was a son of the late Ernest L. and Alice B. (Saucier) Masse.

He was a lifelong resident of West Warwick. Mr. Masse was employed in the textile industry for many years before retiring as a foreman from Concordia Manufacturing. He was a Korean War Marine Corps Veteran and an avid quahogger and sports fan.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Ernest L. Masse and John D. Masse both of West Warwick; a daughter, Lynn A. Anderson of West Warwick; five grandchildren, Ernie, Johnathon and Matthew Masse and Brian and Amy Anderson and two siblings, Roger Masse of West Warwick and Lorraine Deming of Coventry. He was the brother of the late Yvonne Reed and Geraldine Masse. His funeral will be held Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at 9:00 am from the HENAULT-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 5 Eddy Street, West Warwick followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Joseph Church, 854 Providence Street, West Warwick.

Interment with military honors will be in St. Mary Cemetery, West Warwick. Visiting hours Tuesday 4:00-7:00 pm. Information and condolences please visit: www.
