Obituary for Mr. Ernest Vernon Goram Sr. Ernest Vernon Goram, Sr., 79, of Tallahassee, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, September 4, 2018, at the Big Bend Hospice House. A son of the late J.C. and Annie Ruth Hinson Goram, he was born in Greenville, Alabama on December 2, 1938. He served in the United States Navy, was a certified diesel mechanic and retired Union Pipefitter.

He loved country music, playing sports, fishing and working on vehicles. He really enjoyed bringing classic cars and trucks back to life. He also was a great artist.

He is survived by his children, Ernest Vernon Goram, Jr., Roger Lamar Goram, Marianne Goram and Melba Goram; grandchildren, Brandi Long, Phillip Martin, Jesse Goram, Amanda Goram, Galen Goram, Nina Goram, Hannah Goram, Hunter Goram, Madison Goram, Nathian Rouse, Darian Rouse, Jayden Goram, Roslyn Kate Goram, Bobbi Kate Goram and Tucker James Goram. Also surviving is a sister, Christine Perdue. A memorial service to honor and commemorate his life is 6:00 PM, Monday, September 10, 2018, at Abbey Funeral Home, with visitation following until 8:00.
