Obituary for Eseta Lilo Otuafi Eseta Lilo Otuafi Langi, 67, passed away on April 14, 2018 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born on November 29, 1950, in Halaufuli, Vava’u to Taloa Pasina Otuafi and Anavea Katoa Otuafi. She married Aleki Faletoto Langi on July 21, 1978 in San Diego, California and was sealed for all time and eternity on March 29, 1986 in the Oakland, California Temple.

They served as missionaries for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Tonga from June 1986 – June 1988. She was an alumni of Liahona High school and class of ’71. She enjoyed and paricipated in sports and was a San Diego Chargers fan.

She had many talents but her passion was sewing and singing. She loved spending time with her family, friends, class mates, and the choir members of Sweet Harmony. She loved the Gospel and did her best to live up to her convenants.

She was always ready and willing to serve and magnify in whatever calling that was extended to her. She is survived by her children Sulieti Lutui (Stanley Lutui), Aloifoou Katoa Langi (Sela Vea), Melenaite Kuuipo Mafua (Inoke Mafua), Aleki Langi ( Sesikuana Finau), and Vasa Falepapalangi (Fred Stone Falepapalangi). Her grandchildren Tina Lutui, Vasa Langi, Palu Langi, Sterling Falepapalangi, Kymani Falepapalangi, Fale Langi, Kuuipo Langi, Palema Mafua, Finau Langi, and Penina Langi.

She is preceeded in death by both her parents, Taloa Pasina Otuafi and Anavea Katoa Otuafi, her husband Aleki Faletoto Langi, and one of her grandsons Katoa Maverick Falepapalangi. Services are under the direction of Peni Malohifo’ou of Serenity Funeral Home The service for her funeral is as follows: Viewing: Saturday April, 21, 2018 at 8am-10am. Bishops program 11am-12pm.

All done at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 4660 W 5015 S Kearns, Utah. Burial at 1pm at the Redwood Memorial Cemetery at 6500 S Redwood Rd. We would like to thank you all for the love and support that you have showed our family and especially to our dear mother.
